Award for Faculty Excellence

Established in 2017, with the support of generous endowments from George Mason University benefactors, the Presidential Faculty Excellence Awards represent the university’s highest recognition of faculty achievement. The recipients, selected annually, exemplify Mason’s ideals of excellence: teaching innovation, research and scholarship of consequence, diversity and inclusion, and social impact in our community and around the world. The president presents the awards to honorees at a special ceremony during the spring semester.
